AI Lead and Applied AI EngineerAmsterdam, The Netherlands

About Me

I am the AI Lead for back-end engineering at Fueled (formerly 10up), a full-service agency that builds for clients like the Nobel Prize, Google, the State of California, TIME, and ESPN. I am part of the team building Relay, our internal Claude Code plugin marketplace with MCP integrations and department-specific command sets, and I lead a multi-department AI enablement program, pairing with each department’s AI Lead to move teams from experimenting with AI to shipping with it.

The work behind that program is the work behind real AI adoption: building MCP servers, sub-agents, and agent skills that run in production engineering workflows, building evaluation and error analysis into those workflows so they are reliable enough to deploy, and wiring LLM tooling into enterprise platforms and existing pipelines.

That work builds on almost two decades as a self-taught engineer shipping enterprise WordPress, React, Next.js, and TypeScript, and I am a WordPress Core Contributor to the platform behind over 40% of the web. Most of that time has been spent embedded with project stakeholders, translating messy requirements into systems that ship and keep working. The AI work depends on that same skill: understanding how a team operates before trying to improve it with AI.

I am a US citizen, currently living and working in Amsterdam.
